MAG 107

Sarlot for Magpie Tales

Edgar was on excruciatingly intimate terms with his Brobdingnagian ardor for Charlotte
but even he was loathe to admit, the moleskin eyebrows had to go.

I LOVE PLAYING WITH LETTERS AND WORDS AND IMAGES AND WRITER FRIENDS
AND EVEN MOLES AT THE MAG!

Poor Charlotte - she can't help it :) This made me smile; short and straight to the point.

Haha - yes, those eyebrows jumped out at me too! I'm still fighting with my write. Love yours though!

Edgar's jealousy betrayed him, his own eyebrows were a spartan network of stray weeds dashed across his vacant lot of a brow in haphazard fashion. Secretly the velvety hairs of sweet Charlotte's fine facial display made him keenly aware of his own inadequacies!

what did BLueGryphon say?....I agree

and I did crack a smile too

Brobdingnagian - I just found this word this morning for the first time in my thesauras, and now I find it again here. How coincidental! I rather like the eyebrows :)

Ahhh....that's the way of New Words! They follow you around for days! :)

I wish my eyebrows were half as nice!

This Charlotte weaves quite a web around the smitten Edgar.. Well done!!

That's too funny!

Yes, Edgar didn't like what he saw. He would say it loud. Sometimes an insignificant comment can cause a rift. A measure of how much the relationship can withstand

Brobdingnagian is a great word. I like the notion of moleskin eyebrows, too.

Excellent! Love it!

I buy greeting cards of a similar style - love their humour. (You don't write them do you?!)

How ever will one lilliputian man cope with brobdingnagian ardor AND moleskin eyebrows?

Funny post. Thanks for sharing.
