"Curious." Thought a much older Alice as she tipped back in her creaky kitchen chair in hopes of catching a bit of morning sunshine on her face. "It certainly reads different."
Just want you all to know how much I love playing Magpies and getting your fun comments!
However......sadly, for some reason known only to Blogger, if your page is not set to 'pop up' comments I am unable to comment on yours. (including Magpie page)
Some bloggers and I figured this out and we changed it but it is very frustrating.
Please know that I am reading and enjoying all the.....Pies! ;)

Ha! Thanks for bringing Alice to the morning, she lends a bit of mischief to the air.

Interesting. Kinda rabbit hole...
It didn't work, I think, so here I am again, repeating what I said:
short and sweet and fitting!
Oh very clever, wonderfully done! :o)
This is so clever!

Excellent!
Wonderful prompt this time and you did an outstanding job with it.
Less is definitely working it and making it more.
It's nice to hear Alice made it through and can now enjoy her twilight years. My Magpie 86 entry is Cepheus.
So very much like Alice! Your little poem is a bright spot on the day!
A great testament to the pay off from the perfect economy of words. And I love your blog title which seems it could be a cousin to mine.
Alice does add an interesting slant to the picture.
curiouser and curiouser!

Hope it helps.
Loves the magic in your words and reminds me; the spirit of Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland is alive and well!
Thanks for the tip on blogger... will have to try to change that.
Thanks for the morning smiles. So glad Alice is still percolating her good thoughts.
LOVE the idea of an older Alice ... very inclusive. ;)
oh yes- good old Alice- "curiouser and curiouser" Well done!
yet we still follow down the rabbit hole...smiles.
"Alice" of course, why didn't I think of that :)
Small but perfectly formed...
little tale there.
Wonderful indeed! :-)

Elegant! Funny thing is, I found Alice in mine too...
That has to be the best and the simplest Magpie that I've read till date! Loved it... :)
