SUMMER DUST

~The Summer dust settles on my blog like Ancient faerie dust and reminds me that what lies beneath will remain protected until I return with purpose as Lughnasadh leads us slowly and dreamily into Autumn.

AROS BOOK SIGNING & BBQ

ME AND MY SMALL STONES

Well, I do have to admit that there really isn't a better feeling than showing up for a lovely BBQ and finding your entire crew reading your Small Stones
and then arranging an impromptu book signing!   (plus feeding you!)

Never underestimate the power of some good and true friends.

The following is the publicity email that was sent out when the book arrived on Amazon US.
It was first available on Amazon UK
Please check out our River of Stones....or write some yourself!
You'll be glad you did!  ;)

Once again, a small thing but oh, so worth it.

FINALLY appeared on Amazon US

A River of Stones Final Post #31

Deeply snuggled under the electric blanket, the very best kind of snuggle, butt to butt with a giant, snoring yellow dog, cat snoozing on my feet and goat sound asleep breathing perfectly.

I hate you alarm clock.

****************************
My sincere thanks to Fiona for setting up such an amazing challenge.
What started as 'what shall I write?' has ended in 'please, may we have a new challenge?' We like direction!

To all the lovely new blog friends I've met....please, keep creating.....
it's good for the soul.......)

A River of Stones Post #30

Sunshine through the lace curtain makes patterns on the wall I haven't seen in far too long. Lovely, though they only last a little while.

*Neither my collage fabric nor my work. Sent to me by a friend. Origin unknown to me.

A River of Stones Post #28

I note the blank stares returned to me when I mention a worn yet well loved fairytale
and worry that cherished words, like stones, are sinking in the pond of our sight.

The eyes of the dog who had been tied and left in the extreme cold with no way to seek shelter only said: "I'm sorry."

Purple and pink rings surrounded the moon early this morn. It made me
think that faeries were dancing hand in hand.

The sun brings freezing air making the trees crack even though they are standing still. Ironic, isn't it?

A River of Stones Post #21

I've noticed that now that I'm supposed to be noticing things I notice a whole lot more than I ever noticed before even if I don't tell you about it. Have you noticed?

A River of Stones Post #20

I'm supposed to be upset when I find my dog's hairs on my black pants while sitting at my desk at work but secretly it makes me feel like he's there with me.

A River of Stones Post #19

The sun bothered to come out today.

Old man in a jaunty Irish cap, sitting on a stool swinging his cane and given the task of selling something that I politely declined but never really did hear said, "That goat is gonna get right out of that tub."
