My lovely Goat Sister, Teresa from
RAZZAMADAZZLE
RAZZAMADAZZLE
is the featured artist for the Sunday Challenge over at
REAL TOADS
Please do take a moment to check out both sites.
You will love and be inspired by the beauty and diversity of the work.
I'd like to take a moment to thank all those blog artists who provide us with weekly challenges.
Their willingness to do the extra work gives people like me a reason to create.
And while we all are creating constantly inside our heads.....it's lovely to have a reason to set it forth and know someone else out there cares.
(We artists are sensitive like that.) ;)
They have my humble gratitude!
And so.......on with Teresa's show!
There are a number of photographs to choose from today.
Here's my pick of Teresa's work.
Forgotten Razzamadazzle
It's not so bad as it looks, really.
One grows accustomed, even comes to revel, in the hush.
I never was much one for neatness
and the cant of the carved granite bearing my name
affords me an unseasoned view.
"Tilting at tombstones." I once said aloud.
But there was no one there to hear my quixotic jest.
It is a long time, this eternity,
just me and my musings.
But there is the coming of cool rain in the air
and when strangers happen by
they become friends.
